OVERVIEW
My website is about the green turtle. The green turtle is an endangered animal. I have a few ideas that you can do to help save the Green turtle on other pages.
SURVIVAL STATUS
The Green turtle is endangered because people are hunting the eggs and so are other animals. So the turtles are dying and are not making it to the ocean.
CONSERVATION
There are 85,000 to 90,000 females nesting, but the number of males is unknown.Things that you can do to save the Green turtles are...
- Watch out for nesting Green turtle areas because you can step on a egg and maybe kill one of the turtles.
- If you see garbage on the beach pick it up. Help save a Green turtles life. They can get tangled in the garbage and can die from it.
- Turn off the lights if you live near a beach because hatchlings head to the light instead of going to the ocean.
